  • Microsoft Office Excel 2010

    Prerequisites (will auto install if not on your pc already)
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime
  • Windows Installer 3.1


  • Close Microsoft Excel
  • Rename SmartOfficeCompare2ColumnsSetup.ms_ to SmartOfficeCompare2ColumnsSetup.msi
  • Run SmartOfficeCompare2ColumnsSetup.msi
  • Start Microsoft Excel

Clean Cells

Smart Office Data Management - Clean Cells
  • Remove any extra spaces starting and ending cell content in each selected cell
  • Reduce any double spaces between words in each selected cell to single space
  • Remove x number of characters from the left/right of cell contents in each selected cell
  • Keep x characters from the left/right of cell content in each selected cell


Smart Office Data Management - Text
  • Change first letter in each cell to UPPERCASE and the rest to lowercase
  • Change all characters to lowercase letters in each selected cell
  • Change all characters to UPPERCASE LETTERS in each selected cell
  • Change All First Letters To Uppercase In Each Selected Cell
  • Change all uppercase letters to lowercase letters and vice versa in each selected cell
  • Starting each word with Uppercase and concatinating them (remove spaces) in each selected cell
  • Starting each word but the first with Uppercase and concatinating them (remove spaces) in each selected cell
  • Replace spaces with underscores in each selected cell


Smart Office Data Management - Numbers
  • Convert numbers entered as text into real numbers. Usually an issue when importing data from other systems
  • Convert real numbers into numbers entered as text
  • Convert post negative numbers 123- into real numbers -123. Usually an issue when importing data from other systems
  • Invert numbers from negative to positive ( -123 to 123 ) and from positive to negative ( 123 to -123 )
